How to access your VUnetID and ePassword for Open Enrollment

To complete Open Enrollment for 2018 benefits, you will need your VUnetID and ePassword. This is the same ID and ePassword you use to log into C2HR and other Vanderbilt systems. If you don’t remember your VUnetID and/or your ePassword, please follow the instructions below.

If you can’t remember your ePassword:

  • Go to the AccessVU website and click on “Change ePassword.” This will bring you to a login screen.  (see below)

  • At the bottom of the screen is a link to click if you cannot remember your ePassword. This will allow you to reset your ePassword using the recovery questions you set up at the time you received your account.
  • If you cannot remember the answers to your recovery questions or if you have not set up recovery questions, you will need to re-authenticate your VUnetID and ePassword. To do so, you must contact your IT support provider or VUMC IT Help Desk at 615-343-HELP and follow the directions to reset your ePassword. You’ll need:
    • The last five digits of your social security number
    • Your birth date
    • Your legal first and last name

If you can’t remember both your VUnetID or your password:

  • Call your IT support provider or the VUMC IT Help Desk at 615-343-HELP.
  • Ask them to set your account to “Re-Authenticate.”
  • Go to the AccessVU website.
  • Click on “Re-Authenticate” and follow the directions to reset your ePassword.
